SEX OFFENDER INFORMATION

Colorado Law requires persons convicted of certain sex crimes to register with the law enforcement having jurisdiction where they reside.

An annual registration is required on the offender's birthday. Adults convicted of certain specific sexual offenses are required to register every three months as well.

The Idaho Springs Police Department provides a free copy of the city's sex offender list to anyone who asks for the document. A brief form must be completed prior to obtaining the document. The form may be filled out at the Idaho Springs Police Department during normal business hours.
