An application for any new license or renewal shall be filed with the Local Licensing Authority on forms provided by the State Licensing Authority. You may find the state liquor license forms here. Applications need to begin locally with Idaho Springs. Bring completed applications to City Hall attention Deputy City Clerk.
The City Clerk is hereby vested with authority to review and approve applications for liquor license renewals, public events, transfers of ownership, tastings permits and temporary permits.
The license and permit fees shall be paid, in advance, to the City for a license and shall be of the maximum amounts provided in Title 12, Articles 47 and 48, C.R.S., as amended. You may find the liquor license fee schedule here. There are two sets of fees, the local fees (paid to the City of Idaho Springs) and the state fees (paid to the Colorado Department of Revenue).
