2350 Colorado Blvd

Clear Creek runs along this large grassy expanse, which is spotted with picnic tables.
A playground is located at the east end of the park, as well as a pavilion. The City does not take reservations for the pavilion, it is first come-first served. In the summer the park hosts a Farmers Market every Friday.

Citizens

1545 Miner St

Located in the lively downtown district, this park is a popular hangout and meeting spot. A public restroom is located in the park.

Macy/Ruth Mill

655 Colorado Blvd

This quiet park on the west side of town houses a playground and public restrooms.

Shelly/Quinn Fields and Skatepark

101 E Idaho Springs Rd

On the eastern end of town, the complex houses a baseball field and the newly constructed Idaho Springs skatepark!

Virginia Canyon Mountain Park

Home to downhill mountain bike trails, hiking trails, and other recreational amenities. 

Water Wheel Park

Visible from the interstate, the often photographed Water Wheel is a historic icon. Behind City Hall a paved path leads under the interstate and along the creek for a better view.

Anderson Park

Located behind City Hall, this park is home to the Steam Locomotive Colorado &, Southern No. 60 and Passenger Car Colorado &, Southern No. 70. It sits on a piece of the original rail line that once ran through Idaho Springs.
